Sinner? How so?

Here is the thing: sin exists. Actually, the sin came into the world when Adam and Eve disobeyed and ate the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The sin is nothing more than to disobey God. You may be wondering: “Okay, but what do I have to do with it? Adam and Eve sinned first, not me!” Well, I answer you with other question: what if you were in that garden, are sure that you wouldn’t eat the fruit? Maybe you would do the same. You have the same nature of them after all. And, come on! You’re such a sinner as much as Adam was! Or do you want to try to convince me that since the time you woke up you didn’t commit any sin yet?
We’re sinners and that’s a fact. But it’s also a fact that there is light at the end of the tunnel. There is salvation, but the only way you can get it is from Jesus. Yeah, it’s only from Him. And that’s not religious bla, bla, bla. We’re talking about facts, aren’t we? So, that’s the fact: only Jesus can free us from sin. By His death we’re safe. And how Jesus death can save us? The answer is very simple. Follow my thought here: Adam and Eve sinned and were separated from God. By their sins we were condemned to death. This means that: if Adam and Eve hadn’t ate the fruit, until today they would be alive and we, the human race, would live forever. The inheritance that we received from Adam and Eve was death and condemnation.
Okay, let’s go on… The man sins, moves away from God, is condemned by his own sin and what does God do? ... Send His Son to pay for our sins! It’s like you have committed a crime, the judge knew you were guilty and, even knowing it, he sent his son to serve the sentence in your place (in this case, capital punishment).
And that’s what Jesus did for us. All we have to do in change is accept his sacrifice and, in gratitude for it, make Him Lord or our lives.
Well, that’s the only way to become a free sinner. If Jesus is the Lord of your life, you can’t be a servant of sin anymore. Only by Him you can leave living in the sin to live freely for Him.
Now, if you live by serving the sin and your reward is death, then it’s better to live by serving Jesus Christ to receive as inheritance the salvation, don’t you agree? Well, but that’s your choice. Jesus did his choice when He decided to die for humanity.
